Dibrugarh: A Dibrugarh Police Team led by DSP (head office) Aoicharjya Jibon Recently on Thursday night raided Miraz Khan’s house, a famous drug dealer, located in the Panchali area in the city and grabbing rhino horns, one elephant ivory and 19 grams of brown sugar , Cash of 1.3 lakh rs and two cellphone handsets were also confiscated from the defendant’s house.
The police arrested Khan and one of his minions identified as Anish Rahman.
The case has been registered with them at the police station in the police under the Narcotics Act and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS), 1985.
Police said the defendant was involved in drug trafficking and smuggling of animal parts.
