Guwahati: The Assam government on Monday declared total detention in five countries and imposed restrictions on observing Eid al-Fitr-adha in the mosque and public places.
The new SOP issued by the Disaster Management Authority Assam (ASDMA) states that Eid Al-Fitr must be observed from home while Namaaz in the mosque has been permitted with a maximum of five people, including the head of religion.
On the other hand, round curfew has been put in place in Golaghat, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Sonitpur and District Biswanath.
Asdmahas issued direction for rural and urban areas which will remain valid from 5 pages Tuesday to further orders.
“There will be a total detention in five districts that show high levels of high participants pers.
In all 27 districts, he said, the curfew will start at 5pm to 5 in the morning, even because these districts showed a positive increase.
Mahanta said Covid screening of all passengers entering Assam was mandatory.
Even those who arrived at Assam Airport from other countries would be tested.
All workplaces, business and commercial companies, shops deal with food ingredients, fruits and vegetables, milk booths and milk, animal feed, restaurants, dhabas among others will remain closed in the district which shows a high level of prisoners.
However, relaxation for the same thing up to 12 nights has been given in the district which shows the level of model of moderate (Goalpara and Morigaon) and up to 4pm in 27 districts that show an increase in the level of participants.
Asdma’s order stated that there would be a total prohibition on the movement of all public and personal transportation in the total detention district, which was under the hour of the round.
But the movement of goods has been permitted in these five districts.
In other districts, all public transport authorities have been asked to enforce suitable behavior for covid and seating settings that are right in vehicles, carriers and containers.
“All passenger transport services between districts and the movement of people to and from other districts will remain suspended,” read SOP.
While the prohibition of general collection in the total detention district will continue, in other districts, up to 10 people permitted for marriage or funeral.
Physical classes have not been allowed in schools, colleges and universities.
Excise authorities have been empowered to take strong actions against illegal production and sales of state liquor in all districts.
The illegal liquor center has turned into a Covid hotspot, the previous government said.
Other restrictions, including strange formulas even for plying vehicles, will continue, SOP said.
