Guwahati: The Covid-19 case in Assam continues to decline for the third consecutive day as the country recorded 2,046 new cases on Wednesday.
While 132,557 tests were carried out, the state returned 1.54% input level, with 22 people surrendered to the virus for the past 24 hours.
The Golaghat district reported the highest number of cases in 228, followed by Kamrup-M in 207 cases.
On Tuesday, 2,169 cases were recorded in Assam, while on Monday the number of new cases in the country was 2,375.
