Guwahati: An earthquake of 5.2 on the Richter scale crashed into the Assam goal district on Wednesday morning.
The earthquake occurred at 8:45 a.m.
According to the national seismology center, the episentum of the earthquake was 71 km north of Tura, Meghalaya with a depth of 14 km.
