New Delhi: The day after agreeing to resolve the Old Border dispute, Minister Assam Himanta Buswa Sarma and Meghalaya Conrad Sangma on Thursday met with Interior Minister Amit Shah and prove it about the results of their discussion and how to solve problems peacefully.
The two main ministers on Wednesday said that the Government of Assam and Meghalaya agreed to resolve the border disputes and come to consensus in villages and identify natural boundaries such as rivers and forests.

Sarma on Wednesday said two countries would submit their recommendations to the center and urged him to bring the problem ahead.
“The border issue of Assam-Meghalaya is discussed in the Cabinet (state).
The regional committee of these countries has reached consensus, and the agreement has also been achieved at the ministerial level,” he said.
