Nurul Huda’s legislator congress, who moved the request for a delay movement at the end of the question and answer hours, citing a newspaper report that Meghalaya conducted a border survey using drones in the Khanapara area in the Assam District (Metropolitan).
After the speaker Bisang Daimary refused to allow the movement of delay, Minister of Parliament Pijush Hazarika told the house that the drone survey was carried out with permission from the district authorities and similar training would also be carried out by Assam.
“I’m sure there will not be encroachment because it (survey),” he added.
In return for the questions raised by one of the legislators, Hazarika said the current encroachment status by neighboring countries had been placed at home.
He added that the government was willing to give a statement about the problem of the drone survey by Meghalaya, and the speaker asked opposition members to stay at home.
The opposition leader, Debabrata Saikia, said the minister quoted replies instead of giving a statement about “sensitive problems” was very unfortunate.
