LONDON: Wikileaks founder Julian Assange will be able to go to the British Supreme Court to challenge the decision that allows him to be extradited to the United States to face 18 criminal charges including breaking the law of spying.
The High Court in London, which in December canceled a low court decision that he should not be extradited because of his mental health problems meaning he would be at risk of committing suicide, said his request to declare the legal point was given.
However, it refused permission for direct appeal, which means the Supreme Court must decide whether it must hear the challenge or not.
