Thiruvananthapuram: Deputy inspector general (Thiruvananthapuram Range) on Wednesday ordered disciplinary actions against four officers of Kattakkada police channel, like a sub-inspector, to get its alleged bodily harassment of four small boys.
The activity has come following 10 times because the alleged incident occurred.
According to the arrangement issued, sub-inspector Aneesh T, tier sub-inspector Suresh Kumar P and civil officers Binu and V S Anurag may confront a departmental question as lapses were located from the activities of the officers after a preliminary question.
The officers were discovered to be responsible when using force in making sure that the custody of their small boys.
DIG Kori Sanjay Kumar Gurudin reported that the oral inquiry will be run by Kattakkada DSP S Shaji.
The preliminary question was conducted with the exact same DSP.
“The officers can be on duty throughout the question and whether the allegations against them have been shown right, they’ll face suitable actions prescribed by applicable laws,” the DIG said.
The authorities are yet to register FIRs dependent on the complaints filed with the parents of these four teens.
As a result, the DIG said that the FIRs weren’t registered since the incident occurred while the officers were releasing their obligation as a portion of ensuring lockdown protocols.
