Assembly poll: Nomination for the seventh phase begins

Varanasi: The process of submitting the nomination for the seventh and final stage of the upper assembly selection begins amid strict security settings on Thursday.
Although there are no candidates from every leading political party that arises to submit a paper in the nine regencies of the Varanasi region which will conduct a poll on March 7 in Ballia, where voting will take place in the sixth phase, many candidates include the Samajwadi Party, the Tanjujan Party and The Bharatiya Party Janata filed their paper.
According to the Varanasi Regional Election officer Kaushal Raj Sharma, the nomination process began with the issuance of notifications for the eight regency assembly chairs on Thursday.
Only one Monu Rai candidate from the Bahadur Adami Party who filed its nomination from the North Varanasi Assembly seat.
One more nominated form was obtained from City North, he said.
Compared to Varanasi, the nomination office in Azamgarh remains crowded because of the procurement of the form of nomination by their candidates and lawyers.
Deo Azamgarh Amrit Tripathi said that a total of 67 sets of nominated papers were purchased by candidates of various political parties including BJP, SP, BSP, Congress and others.
A candidate Ravishankar Singh Yadav from the Janrajya Party submitted his letters.
Deo Chandauli Sanjeev Singh said that 13 candidates included five of the assembly areas of Mughalariai, Saiyyedraja, the Sakaldiha assembly area and Chakia were purchased but no nominations proposed.
In Jaunpur, 91 forms of nominations were obtained by candidates of various political parties and independent candidates from Badlapur, Shahganj, Conscious, Malhani, Mungra Badshahpur, Maniyahu, Jafrabad and the territory of the smell.
A total of 25 candidates bought their nomination form in Mirzapur while one Pushplat Bind BSP also submitted his letters from the Majhva Assembly seat.
In Ballia, where the nomination process will conclude on Friday, a large number of candidates appear to submit nomination papers.
Deo Ballia Indra Vikram Singh said that the three candidates from Bairia include SPS Jai Prakash Anchal and Subhash Yadav from BSP, two of the Rasda, five of the Rasda, including BSP candidates and MLA Umashankar Singh and Om Lata Raj, five of Jalan Belthra including Chhatthu Road from BJP , Hanshu Ram Party Suheldeo Bhartiya Samaj and Pravin Prakash from BSP, 10 of the conscious chairs including SP Narad Rai and Verma Shivdas, three of Pheafna, including Kamal Dev of BSP and BHEEM SBSP and 10 candidates from assembly assembly including Manti.
BSP and Sushant from Aam Adami submitted their paper.
