Thiruvananthapuram: The media must ensure that when reporting the assembly process, it must apply to facts, the speaker M Bajesh observes in the assembly on Wednesday.
The speaker made observations after the media section was allegedly reported that the negligence of the name of one member, who had provided a notification of seeking leave for the delay movement, by intentional speaker.
The speaker says that such interpretation is unfortunate and journalists must ensure more responsibility and caution when reporting the process, which should be in accordance with the facts.
The problem is related to the leave for the postponement movement sought by members including M Muneer, a P Anil Kumar, Mons Joseph, Anoop Jacob, Mani C Kappan and K When, regarding the lack of a plus seat in the state.
When the speaker read the names of members who have served the notification, the name K K rema was left at first, and opposition members immediately objected to this negligence.
The speaker then clarified that it was accidental and photocopy of notification from where he had read the names accidentally exclaimed the name K R rema.
He then fixed the mistake and read Rema’s name too.
