New Delhi: Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, who pioneered the BJP campaign in the state, will oppose the election of upcoming assembly from the Gorakhpur (urban) chair.
This was announced by Dharmendra Dharmendra Narmendra BJP when the party released the first list of candidates for the first phase and both elections in the state.
Deputy Chairperson of Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will oppose the selection of Siratu in Prayagraj.

In the first list, more than 60 percent of the names come from the OBC and SC categories.
Of the 107 names announced, 63 was sitting MLA while 20 had fallen.
There are 10 female candidates.
Voting at Gorakhpur will be held in the sixth phase on March 3 while Sirathu will go to the poll on February 27.
Previously, there was speculation that BJP could involve Yogi Adyityath from the town of Ayodhya or Mathura.
