JAMSHEDPUR: The Bihar-Jharkhand unit of the Indian Sikh Student Federation (AISSF) has served legal notice to Bollywood actor Kangana Ranana and look for public apologies to the nation to comment “BHEEKH MEI MILI AZADI”.
AISSF serves notification to Ranaut through his advice on Upadhyay.
The president of the unit, Satnam Singh Gambir, said, “Both Kangana tenders of unconditional apologies to the country within 15 days or we will file a complaint in the Jharkhand High Court, seek penalty against him.” In particular, the Award-winning actor Padma Shri said that the freedom obtained in 1947 was “Bheekh” while real independence was achieved in 2014.
“The statement is an insult to millions of heroes of freedom of struggle that makes the highest sacrifice for the release of the state from the British colonial rules,” added Gambir.
