Asus recently launched its flagship smartphone, Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 flip globally.
The company, a few months ago, confirmed that the telephone would be launched in India too.
Official launch details are still awaited from the company.
However, Dinesh Sharma, head of the business, commercial PC and smartphone, Asus India once again confirmed that the smartphone will be launched in India through a tweet.

Tweet still makes us in the dark about the official launch date of the smartphone or even timeline about the tentative launch of a smartphone.
Tweet also did not tell us whether ZenFone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip will be launched in India or only ZenFone 8.
Based on the global variant of a smartphone, Zenfone 8 will display an AMOLED 120HZ 5.9-inch screen.
The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888SOC paired with RAM up to 16GB and 256GB storage.
ZenFone 8 displays a compact and smaller form factor than other available flagships and internal features can provide excellence of other available options.
Also, if ASUS managed to provide smartphone prices competitively, then it could be a determinant of deals for users and becoming a ladder for success in the smartphone market for the company.
The global variant displays a double rear camera setting of the 64MP primary and 12MP secondary sensor.
