Gurgaon: The city on Wednesday recording a new case Covid-19 – the lowest one-day calculation since the plague of pandemic – taking cooperatives to 1.81,033.
March 16, 2020, marks the start of the Covid case in Gurgaon.
On that day, two people felt positive for the virus and it was the lowest calculation in a day until now.
The city reported 5,042 new cases on April 29 this year – the highest single rise.
In accordance with official data, Gurgaon added 1,16,933 cases in May, 735 in June 206 in July to total calculations.
As many as 119 cases have been reported in the city in August so far, showing a stable reduction in numbers.
In weekly numbers too, there has been a drop in the case.
The weekly average fell from 44 cases between July 23 to 41 in the following week (July 30 to August 5).
In the second week (August 6-12), 33 cases were recorded, which subsequently declined in the third week (Aug 13-19) up to 30.
On the running week (August 20-25), a total of 22 cases have been reported so far.
At present, there are 71 active cases in the city, which is a great relief because the number almost reaches a sign of 40,000 in May.
Meanwhile, four Covid patients recovered on Wednesday, brought the total recovery to 1,80,040.
The recovery rate is at 99.6%.
A total of 66 patients were in house isolation at this time in the district.
On Wednesday, no death reported in Gurgaon.
The total number of Covid deaths stands at 922.
A total of 18,60,855 people have been under supervision in the city so far.
In the last 24 hours, health authorities collected 3,298 samples for antigen tests and RT-PCR.
Until now, a total of 18.47,969 samples were sent for testing, where 16,63,638 was returned negative while the results were 1,664 awaited.
When cases have declined, the number of patients in the hospital also dropped.
At present, there are five covid patients in the hospital.
“The number of cases was initially low, but we should not let our guards go down.
The level of prospective has dropped to 0.1%, which was once 32% at one point in time.
The active case has risen below 75-mark,” said Dr.
Virender Yadav , Chief Medical Officer, Gurgaon.
