Aizawl: Mizoram registered a one-day surge in the highest Covid-19 on Tuesday as more than 1,502 people, including 300 children, tested positive infections, encouraging the state counting to 72,883, a health official said.
The level of participants is 16.39% as against the national average of 1.98%.
60,152 has recovered, making the lowest recovery rate in the northeast at 82.53%.
This was followed by Nagaland at 92.95% as against the national average of 97.58%.
The number of active cases was 12,487 (17.14%) on Tuesday night toll at 244.
The advanced surge in a daily infection pushed the central team to visit the state since Friday.
The team conducted studies in districts where the daily peposititivity was more than 10%, Dr.
