At 22, Gurugram sees lowest Covid-19 cases in four months

GURUGRAM: The city reported less than 25 new Covid-19 cases — 22 — on Thursday, the lowest in 117 days.
The last time Gurugram had less than 30 new cases was on February 13, when it witnessed 22 cases.
With this, the caseload has now reached 1,80,425.
Gurugram’s positivity rate is 1% at present, while the number of active cases is 495.
On Thursday, three deaths were reported in the city, taking the Covid toll to 863.
The fatality rate stands at 0.4% now.
As many as 105 people also recovered on Thursday.
With this, the total number of recoveries has gone up to 1,79,067.
The city’s recovery rate is 99.2%.
In the past 24 hours, health authorities have collected 4,276 samples for testing.
