Jaipur: The country witnessed the biggest one-day surge in omicron cases on Wednesday with 23 people who tested positive towards Korona’s tension.
The country has reported 69 omicron cases so far.
Of the 23 new cases, four of them have a history of foreign trips, three have come into contact with foreign travelers, two come into contact with people from other states, and someone comes into contact with Omicron patients.
Among 23 patients, 10 came from Ajmer, nine of Jaipur, 2 of Bhilwara and each of Alwar and Jodhpur.
A senior health department official said that from 46 previously reported omicron cases, 44 had recovered and two were on the recovery path.
The official said, “The Head of the Medical Health Officer District of the Omicron case was found, has been directed at tracking Omicron cases and made them claim to be a dedicated ward in their respective districts after the new guidelines.” The Department of Health team now conducts contact with contact with new cases.
Until now, 69 Corona variants have been found.
From them, 39 came from Jaipur, 17 of the Ajmer, four of Sikar, two of Bhilwara and one case each found from Alwar, Jodhpur and one person was Maharashtra residents.
