Mumbai: One of the three tech students of the first year of Iit-Bombay, who joined the Institute during the pandemic, afraid of interactions in-people they might not be as good as their communication through the text.
A survey by magazines, insight into institutional students, for newsletters Freshers revealed what students were doing first year.
Students claim they will miss a lecture recording Live, spend time with school friends, attending two sessions at a time, and also get out of bed directly to class, after they return to campus.
Some claim that getting attendance is easily only possible because of the online class.
About 238 first year students responded to the survey.
“It is very interesting to find out what the first years think about all these scenarios.
This is a batch that joins the Institute in Pandemi,” said one of the magazine editors.
Tapanendu Kundu, Dean, student affairs, said they understood what students were doing.
“They have joined the Institute of their dreams, but haven’t seen the campus once.
We tried to bring them back gradually.
The last year’s students have returned; the rest, it will depend on the pandemic situation,” he said.
