New Delhi: National capital continues to sizzle in the condition of the Heatwave.
The maximum temperature is at 43.1 degrees Celsius, six notches above normal, said the Meteorology Department of India (IMD).
The heatwave is stated to the plain when a maximum temperature is more than 40 degrees Celsius and at least 4.5 notches above normal.
The minimum city temperature is recorded at 31.7 degrees Celsius.
The relative humidity at night is 29 percent.
Lightning storm with rain is estimated in the city on Friday.
The first summer heatwave recorded in the city on Monday when mercury has increased to 43 degrees Celsius.
The air quality of the national capital is in the ‘poor’ category on Thursday night.
Data from the Central Polution Control Agency shows that the air quality index (AQI) at 7.05 PM stands at 236.
AQI between zeros and 50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 “satisfying”, 101 and 200 “moderate”, 201 and 300 “poor”, 301 and 400 “very poor”, and 401 and 500 “severe”.
