Gurgaon: Faridabad reported 44 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, the highest single-day surge in the past six months.
The last time the city reported more than 35 cases in June 5.
Faridabad now has 135 active cases.
The health department official said the Covid case has shown a trend of gains from December 28 (Tuesday), when 22 new cases were reported.
The next day, the city saw 30 new cases.
On Thursday, the level of participation rose to 1.4% from the previous day 0.9%.
Case load has now increased to 1,00,170.

People with their second dose maturity will also be vaccinated.

At present, 132 Covid patients are in house isolation and three are treated at a dedicated Covid Hospital or Health Center.
Faridabad saw seven recovery on Thursday, took the total recovery amount to 99,318.
In the last 24 hours, 3,065 Covid tests were carried out, where 2,157 was a RT-PCR test.
District administration has also increased the number of detention zones to 26.
