New Delhi: Delhi records the lowest minimum temperature of the season at 6.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal, on Sundays.

The night temperature was recorded at 8.3 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
RK Jenamani, a senior scientist at the IMD, said, “Because the sky is bright, the minimum temperature is dipped in the city because of radiation cooling.
The minimum temperature drops from Delhi to Aligarh but other parts in the northwest such as the increase and harshana temperature.” Under the impact of weak western disorders, there may be a marginal increase in temperature, the weather office said.
“East wind can be set for several hours on December 13-14,” said an official.
Forecasts for December 13-15 show a minimum temperature of about 8 degrees Celsius while it can fall to 7 degrees on December 16.
The lowest minimum temperature recorded in December 2020 was 3.3 degrees Celsius, in the last week of the month.
Air quality system and weather forecasting and research (Safar), the forecasting agency under the Ministry of Earth, said, “During the next two days (13-14 December), wind tends to be low to moderate.
Cloudy partial conditions and moderate mixing layers ( ~ 1 km) tend to maintain the quality of the air in ‘poor’ during the day or ‘very poor lower end’ at night and early in the morning for the next two days.
