Patna: Bihar has the third highest sero ponytitude or the existence of antibodies in India.
This is the finding of survey surveys conducted by the Indian Council for medical research (ICMR) from June 14 to July 6 in 70 regencies in the country.
According to the survey, Madhya Pradesh had the highest seroprevalence (79%), followed by Rajasthan (76.2%) and Bihar (75.9%).
Now, the Ministry of Health and family welfare has instructed all countries to carry out their own surveys and produce district level data that can help in formulating local health programs.
The main major secretary of the State Health Department, Pratyaya Amrit, told TI on Thursday that the survey was conducted in 12 districts and the results were submitted in 20 days.
The district, which will be surveyed, including Supaul, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Munger, Bhagalpur, Patna, Kishanganj, Style, Samaran Barat, Nalanda, Suggestions and Kaiur.
In each district, 370 people, including 50 health workers, will be taken randomly.
Meanwhile, health experts claim that seroprevalence is enough to reduce the third wave impact anticipated from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Krishna Panday, Director of the Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences-Patna, said, “Vaccination against Covid-19 is important for protection against this disease.
Going with the latest figures from surveys, safe to say that the country has achieved herd immunity .
Many reports have stated that if 80% of the population becomes immune to the virus, the immunity of the herd is achieved.

Sanjeev Kumar, The Nodal Officer for Covid-19 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, claimed that it was good that many people had developed antibodies through natural infection.
“The latest findings of the sero survey, the spread of controlled infectious diseases.
In this situation, the third wave of Covid might have a minimal impact,” he said.

A Khu, Director of the Indira Gandhi Cardiology Institute, also showed that it reached 75% of Seroprevalence was a good sign for Bihar and one reason for a steady decline in the number of Daily Covid.

Sunil Kumar, Secretary of the Indian-Bihar Medical Association, said the sero-positivity would reduce the third wave impact.
However, all health experts emphasize the need for vaccination for better results.
