Ludhiana: In “important achievements”, Ludhiana has achieved the highest vaccination in one day with 131993 doses of lakh which is given cross districts on Sunday.
Praising the efforts of unforgettable health workers and determined in recording the highest single day vaccination, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that this would further strengthen the deadly Covid-19 war.
He said that the history of the history of more than 1.31 doses of lakh from the Covid-19 vaccine could not be without the full support of Ludhiana people who took part with all my heart in the inoculation drive which had so far covered 2254619 people starting on January 16, 2021.
He Also thanking the minister of Civil Equipment and consumer affairs Bharat Bhushan Ashu and other public representatives to launch drive vaccination to the front door of Ludhiana who has received an extraordinary response from the people.
DC said it was a necessity per hour to vaccinate people on the war footing to build herd immunity to fight the third wave by sending a team in every corner and corner of the district.
He said vaccination was being carried out on a large scale in Ludhiana and the government was in action mode to further improve the protection system against Covid-19.
Deputy Commissioner said: “Vaccination is the most effective weapon against this invisible enemy and now, it is our responsibility to advance to take Jab.” He also appealed to people to advance for large amounts of vaccination and encourage young people and their parents to the same thing.
