At first, cops Set up free sanitary Mat vending machines Around Vadodara

VADODARA: At first, the authorities have put in two vending machines which may distribute sanitary napkins at no cost in town.
The cops intend to put in a dozen such machines in various regions over the next couple of months with the support of Vatsalya Foundation.
“The concept is to make sure that sanitary napkins are also readily available to more girls.
The consumer might need to devote a dummy coin from the machine which will provide out a sanitary napkin at no cost,” explained Shamsher Singh, town police commissioner.
The authorities said that it needs to reach out to girls in lower income category strata.
“Sanitary napkins should be offered readily to the national assistance, vegetable sellers and people who don’t come out of a solid financial foundation.
Their hygiene is very important also,” Singh added.
Even the cops have roped in Go Kart rushing champ Mira Erda and shooting winner Anju Sharma as new ambassador to their own campaign.
At the moment, vending machines are installed in Lehripura and at Raopura region.
“We will raise the amount of vending machines that’ll be set up in the public places which are seen by girls in huge numbers.
Girls may use the device around the clock,” Singh added.
