Hisar: In the first Lado Panchayat in the country in Nalwa village in this district, the girls asked the government on Saturday to increase the age of the law to marry 21 of 18.
Committee 11 members Lado Panchayat passed the resolution to demand a three-year gun besides RS 5 lakh, because not only parents married their daughter earlier but also the guests who came to this wedding.
Many girls who married at an early age also asked for a social boycott of the family who encouraged a child’s marriage.
The first Panchayat Lado in the country was organized by Sunil Jaglan, founder of ‘Selfie with a princess campaign where hundreds of girls and women have participated.
Apart from the Melat Haryana district, the participants also from Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar, and Chandigarh.
From these girls who came to Pancayat, Kumari Pooja was picked to lead a meeting by drawing, and while he led the process, Sunil Jaglan played the secretary.
Girls from various states and local areas share their ideas about raising the law of the law to marry 21.
Rishida, 16, from Himachal Pradesh said: “Our girls must get the same right to read and write.” Neeraj from Nalwa said: “Even though a talented student, I am married at the age of 15 to bear a child at the age of 17 and, today, I fight with health problems because of that.” Anjali Bihar said: Thousands of daughters of my country married young age and sold in other countries, including Haryana.
The government must work to stop this by increasing the age of the law to get married.

Anjum from MAmat said women must have the same rights if the country aspires to be developed.
Jia, 17, Rehar said: “Why does the government delay the age of marriage to 21 when every day of education and career dreams of thousands of girls are destroyed.” Ritu Regency Mohali Punjab said: “A 18-year-old child can not stand the physical and mental harassment of forced marriage.” Lado Panchayat Convener Sunil Jaglan said that the country received independence in 1947 but chained by the constitution.
“It’s time to change it,” he said.
