Hyderabad: In the heart of Hyderabad’s Hub IT, a gated community who played the host for a successful cum-awareness trip on Friday, with hundreds of residents stepping out to join the event.
Cutting the age group, people participated in the drive organized by the Welfare Avatar Welfare Association (in the Finance District) in collaboration with Rosmital Apollo and the Times of India (TOI), Hyderabad.
More than 500 people are vaccinated in two slots – starting at 10 am to 1 noon and 2pm to 5 pm.
“Drive encourages more people to vaccinate.
With a priority basis, all our workers – including servants, security guards, residential maintenance staff, etc.
– vaccinated.
This drive certainly helps us spread more awareness between residents too,” SP said Bhaskar who plays an important role in disseminating information among people.
Emphasizing the importance of getting vaccinated staff, residents say how they act as frontline workers for them, during the second wave.
“Security staff, in particular, works very hard to ensure that residents can get their food among other important items on time,” said Sundar Padhi.
Toi initiative, preparing Hyderabad for new normal, which is aimed at educating people in the appropriate Covid-19 behavior, with the locking lifting in Telangana, also gets positive from the participants.
Residents agreed that even those who were vaccinated must be careful in public spaces – using masks, follow social and sanitation norms regularly.
“Everyone uses various types of masks but of course there are very few awareness among people.
Drive Awareness Toi of course brightens me on these subjects,” said Mrinmayee Gupta, a resident.
