New Delhi: At least 22 states and the United States have reopened schools for all students after a prolonged closure because of Covid pandemics while more than 92 percent of teaching personnel in India have been vaccinated, the union education ministry said on Tuesday.
Education Minister Union Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday reviewing school rounds and calling for normal restoring in educational institutions considering rapid inoculation in the region.
According to the data distributed by the ministry, while more than 92 percent of teaching personnel have been vaccinated throughout the country, short-term institutions have recorded vaccination 96 percent among their teaching employees.
At least 86 percent of non-teaching personnel educational institutions have also been vaccinated, it shows.
“Review the progress of vaccination teaching personnel and non-teaching schools, institutions and centers of skills related to education ecosystems and skills.” With fast vaccination in the country, we see a normal future and the spirit being restored in schools and other skilled education institutions, “Pradhan said in a tweet.
The school was closed throughout the country in March last year ahead of national locking to contain the spread of covid- 19.
While some countries began to improve schools for senior schools in October last year, they again had to be closed because of the second wave of aggressive Covid-19 in April this year.
Only over the past four months have stated that it has begun to reopen the school.
-Negara who re-opened school for all Delhi classes, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, and Rajasthan, among others.
Six countries and UTS, including Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Arunachal, Goa, and Puduchhery, have reopened schools for a ninth grade of H oga 12.
Six countries and UTS, including Ladakh, Gujarat, Punjab, Nagaland and Jharkhand, have reopened schools for students enrolled in sixth grade to 12.
According to ministry data, only West Bengal and Manipur have not reopened school.
While Head of Bengal Bengal Bergela Banerjee last week announced that the school will be reopened for grade 9 to 12 of November 16, Manipur has not received a call about this issue.
