Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday discussed the media after the 36-day interregnum speculated even when the Covid case surge continued, with the country that reported 31,625 new cases, 153 levels of 18.67% peposititivity.
CM announced that the Covid review meeting has decided that nighttime will be enforced in the state of Monday (10 nights to 6 in the morning).
There will be triple locking in the local body where the weekly infection population ratio above 7% and IPS officers will take over in each district from Monday to coordinate prevention steps, CM said.
The local body has been asked to ensure that there is an adequate vaccine stock.
