New Delhi: The 82nd Indian Presiding Officer Conference (AIPOC), which will be held at the Shimla from November 17-18, is likely to take the problem of the main officers’ rights “of the anti-defense law.
Officers of the chairman have maintained a decision under the anti-defense law in delays for years in several state assemblies and also in parliament.
“A committee on the anti-defection law was formed during the conference of the Chairperson of the Chairperson in 2019 and a report in this case was prepared.
It is very possible that detailed discussions about this report will be held at Shimla,” said Speaker Lok Sabha Om Birla at a press conference at the press conference here on Monday.
The Committee led by speaker Uttar Pradesh Hriday Naraian Dixit has been formed at the Dehradun conference in 2019.
Speaker Lok Sabha stressed that there is an urgent need to rationalize the strength and jurisdiction of the main officer to place a strong system for the implementation of anti-defense law.
He responded to questions about the suffering of decisions about disqualification of three parliamentarians under the anti-defection law.
