Ahmedabad: Gujarat Anti-Terrorism forces (ATS) who were investigating 120kg heroin’s seizures in Morbi, on Tuesday arrested two people from Sirohi in Rajasthan and one of Jamnagar.
ATS Sleuths also serves more than 24kg Heroin, worth Rs 120 Crore, from Navadra Village in Jam-Kalyanpur Taluka from the Devbhomi-Dwarka district, the officer said on Wednesday.
The development came after ATS on Sunday arrested three people – Mukhtar Hussein aka Jodbar Jodiya, a resident of Jodbar in Jamnagar, Ghulam Bhagad from Salaya in Devbhomi-Dwarka, and Shamsuddin Husseinmiya Saiyyed aka Pirzada Bapu, a resident of Jinjuda Village in Morbi – for ownership of 120kg Heroin , Worth Rs 600 Crore.
Hussein and Bhagad, for the instructions of Brother Hussein’s brother, ISA RAV, carried medicines from Pakistani drug squad, Zahid Bashir Baloch.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the defendant was active in countries such as Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Punjab.
The 132kg consignment carried from Pakistan, 12kg must be given to Jailed Helper Jailed, Bharathusan Sharma aka Bhola Shooter – Ankit Jakhad and Arvind Yadav.
12kg will be sent to both by a resident of Jamnagar, Iqbal Qadri.
When Qadri went to send medicines, a Gujarat ATS team arrested him, and Yadav, a resident of Srianganganagar in Rajasthan, from Sirohi District in Rajasthan, ATS official statement said.
As long as it was questioned, Yadav told the police that Sharma had run a racket from the Faridkot prison where he had been imprisoned in connection with the murder case, attempted murder and extortion.
Sharma maid, Jakhad, has managed illegal business on her orders, said an ATS officer, adding that Sharma and Jakhad were close to other gangsters, Lawrence Bishnoi.
ATS officers also said that they had also held up the charges sought, the son of Isa Rav, Hussein Rav, in this case.
On Mukhtar Hussein’s question, he told the police that one consignment, 24kg, was stored at Anwar Patelia’s house in Navadra Village in Jam-Kalyanpur Taluka from Devbhomi-Dwarka District.
The ATS team rushed there and seized the consignment, worth Rs 120 Crore.
