ATS ATS Catch One More Vid Man in Conversion Cases

Nagpur: One more person who has a link in Vidarbha has been arrested in connection with the alleged religious conversion case where Umar Gautam was ordered by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism squad (ATS).
Gautam is a cleric and conversion to Islam.
He allegedly changed a number of people, including speech and hearing disorders and other vulnerable people.
Conversion facilities violate the anti-conversion law enecated in 2020, police said.
Dheeraj Jagtap, someone who came from Yavatmal, was arrested at Kanpur on Friday.
It followed the arrest of Prasad Kawane and the other two from Ganeshpeth in the city by the police.
Jagtap produced before the court on Saturday.
Jagtap and Kaware are thought to be part of the Gautam network in Maharashtra where there is no same law.
It has been learned that both have turned themselves into Islam but have maintained their Hindu names.
Jagtap also visited Mominpura where he was said to have a relationship with several locals and carry out activities, said sources.
According to ATS ATS press releases, he has repented 10 years ago and runs the WhatsApp group, Rehab Dawah ‘for allegedly captivating people into folds and hiding religious hatred.
Jagtap is also a key member of the Islamic Youth Federation, clothes that mainly become conversions.
Both Jagtap and Kaware are involved in converting people by luring them with benefits and intimidation, the release said.
