Lucknow: Rising and Special Cells of Delhi Police in Joint Operations Solving Pakistan’s Network Module in the State on Tuesday and arrest three people.
Similar Raids were carried out in Maharashtra and Delhi where three more were arrested.
Three accused of Nabbed above was identified as Moolchand, 47, Unchahar at Rae Bareli, Mohammed Amir, 31, from Alambagh in Lucknow, and Zeeshan Qamar, 28, from Kareli in Prayagraj.
Moolchand from Rae Bareliadg law and Order, Prashant Kumar, said the trio was trained and supported by Inter Service Intelligence (content).
An Ied also recovered in Prayagraj who was distributed by the bomb disposal squad.
“The defendant was being interrogated.
We also gather information about their colleagues,” he added.
Senior ATS officials said they had received input from Delhi’s special central and cell agents that the group supported by Pak planned to carry out the IED series explosion in the state.
A ATS official said the big church in big cities rose during the upcoming festival season was a possible target.
“We are working on more detail about planning carried out by the group to find specific places on radar and other central agencies will also question accusations,” he said.
A source at ATS said that accusing Zeeshan Qamar was trained under the instructions of content and was assigned to reset from various locations in Delhi and ride to place IED.
He also claimed that Zeeshan and one of the accused of being arrested from Delhi gave training in handling AK 47 weapons and made IED.
Sumber ATS said the defendant had touched with Anees Ibrahim, a brother of the terrorist who was sought by Dawood Ibrahim.
