New Delhi: President of RAM Nath Kovind on Saturday said the attack on Assam’s rifle convoy which led to the army and their family members in Manipur deserved selfless criticism and that the nation was united with a grieving family.
Colonel Viplav Tripathi, Commander Khuga Battayion of Assam Rifles, his wife and son, in addition to the four oldest paramilitary personnel in the country died on Saturday in the title of Blastes IED and shots of gunfire in the Churachandpur district.
“Attack on the Assam rifle convoy that leads to the army and our family members in Manipur deserve to get inappropriate criticism.
This cowardly reaffirms our determination to eradicate terror in all forms and manifestations.
We stand united with a mourning family,” Kovind Tweeted.
