Gurgaon: A senior colleague from a Kashmir young man who was beaten by four masked men was arrested on Monday after police identified him as the main conspirator.
Bhuvnesh, police said, felt insulted by Tariq’s voice Ahmed Bhat when the argument they did at work and decided to give him a lesson.
Bhat (24) was attacked in the 44 sector, where the company Fintech worked to have his office on August 20.
Along with Bhuvnesh (29), Lucky (28) and Prashant (28) were also arrested on Monday.
The three have been ordered below section 323 (voluntarily causing injury), 34 (general intentions) and 506 (criminal intimidation) IPC.
The police are still looking for the fourth defendant.
The police said Bhuvnesh and Bhat argued about Bhat using his personal telephone to call the client, which had been returned by Bhuvnesh, quoted the company’s rules.
“Bhat has responded in a loud tone, which has left Bhuvnesh feeling insulted.
Bhuvnesh shares an incident with his friends, who suggested a bhat to be displayed by his ‘limit’,” said Jasvir Punia, Sho of Susstant Lok Police Station.
Bhat, who has said after the incident he was not sure about living in Gurgaon, the police said he had felt safe throughout the investigation.
“The police have with me along the probe.
I am happy that the defendant was arrested.
I feel relieved now,” Bhat said.
The punia tells the Toi, “This case does not have a communal feel.
It can be resolved within office boundaries, but things walk in a different direction.
We are looking for a fourth suspect and will soon find it.” Notice was sent to Bhuvnesh’s residence in Faridabad , asked him to appear at the police station.
Similar notifications were sent to friends Bhuvnesh lucky, a resident of Mahavir Enclave Delhi, and Prashant, who lived in the Dundahera Gurgaon.
