Vadodara: More than two decades after later the Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of MS allegedly attacked by three BSC students, the court released three charges.
The dean in his police complaint claimed that he was attacked after he refused to pass one of the three students who had failed in the examination.
Investigations or failures that fail to part of the police in collecting evidence is not a reason for liberation.
Interestingly, Dean Bonipailo Beekekepailo Christian, who has submitted a case at the police station Ijigunj, and three Lakulish students alias Lalo Purohit, Vanrajsinh Raj and Vishal Parikh did not appear during the trial.
Only one eyewitness, who was an employee in the faculty, appeared for his testimony, but he also could not remember the names of students who had attacked the dean.
In accordance with the details of the complaint registered by Christian, on August 20, 1998 when Christian was present in his office, Parikh, Raj and Purohit stormed into his office and asked Christianity to pass the Parikh in the examination he had failed.
When Christian said that he could not pass the Parikh illegally, the trio abused him and attacked him with a chair.
When he moved to the side, Christian did not suffer injury.
Then, Christian submitted a violation of violations, attacks and insults at the police station Ijigunjigunji TRIO.
When the case appeared to be tried after the police submitted a chargesheet, none of the defendants remained even though there was a call was released.
The court then decided to continue the trial with their absence.
During the trial, testimony was only one eyewitness Kirit Patel was recorded.
Patel stated that Christianity had left Gujarat to settle in his place of origin for a long time.
While one witness, who was a senior officer, died and another witness since turning his home and his new address was not available.
Patel said that the alleged incident occurred in Dean’s office and several students had harassed it and also he had fallen from his chair.
However, he failed to recognize one of the students involved in the attack or recalled their name.
Additional Court Judge Judge J Judge J Baxi considers Patel’s statement and also notes that there is no concrete evidence presented against the defendant to prove they are guilty.
The court issued their liberation sequence with their absence.
