Attack on the doctor: cm warned strong action

Thiruvananthapuram: The state government will ensure that strong actions will be taken against those involved in attacking doctors, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said, after a high-level meeting here on Monday to discuss the problems repeated from the attack incidence.
He said that the government was bound to customs to ensure all facilities for doctors to let go of their duties.
He instructed all who cared to ensure that there was CCTV supervision in the department and the victim who came out.
This must be ascertained in a private hospital too.
At the hospital where there is a police assistance post, the CCTV system must be associated with the post-post.
When appointing security officers in patients out and the victim, retired former military personnel must be employed.
This does not mean that those who serve today must be removed.
He instructed that the problem maker must be arrested immediately in the incident.
In large hospitals such as medical colleges, state industrial security force services (SISF) must be utilized.
This must be enforced when the contract with the existing security agent is complete.
He said that security personnel must also be given adequate training.
The meeting was attended by Health Minister Veena George, Head of Secretary of Secretary of the VP, additional Secretary of the Head (Home and Alert) TK Jose, National Police Chief Anil Kant, Main Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) Rajan Khobragade, Adgp (Intelligence) TK Vinod Kumar and Adgp (law and order) Vijay Sakhare.
The meeting was held after repeated incidents of physical attacks on the doctor, the latest incident report from the Government Fortress Hospital in the capital.
