Coimbatore: Ex-Aiadmk member, who was attacked by a driver of the Autorickshaw on a money dispute on July 16, died without responding to treatment at Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) on Saturday.

, from ondipudur, attacked by a 32-year-old car driver Sampathkumar, from Bharathipuram near the tulur, on July 16, after the first told him that the chicken he had given him to sell and refuse to pay for it.
, “Sampathkumar has given four chickens to Srinivasan, the former AIADMK council, on July 16 morning for sales.
When Sampathkumar demanded money for chicken at the same night, Srinivasan said the chicken died at his house and he had thrown the carcass,” the officer said.
Samphathkumar did not believe in Srinvasan and both of them entered into a fight.
“In anger, Sampathkumar hit Srinivasan on his head with the stove cover and escaped from the place,” the officer said.
Srinivasan was taken to CMC with a severe head injury.
After Srinivasan died on Saturday, the police had told this case to kill.
