Rajkot: A guardian of Babarkot’s animal care center in Jafrabad Taluka in Amreli suffered minor injuries after the lion attacked him on Saturday.
According to the Ministry of Forestry, the incident occurred when Caregiver Naresh Pandya stood the gate of a lion cage.
Lions are brought for care from the wild.
Pandya was talking to his colleague with his back towards the cage.
The lion suddenly attacked a pandya from behind, who received an injury to the foot.
Pandya was taken to the Rajula Government Hospital where he was dismissed after primary care.
