Prayagraj: With the aim of shrinking student migration to go to other cities to pursue a higher study, the authority of the University of Allahabad has decided to establish a museum to showcase its famous alumni to the students so they are encouraged to pursue studies at the fourth university of these four countries.
“I feel sad to see that many young students in the city are not aware of ‘noble past’ au or in this matter about the big personality of the country that has studied at this big institution,” said Au Vice – Chancellor Prof.
Sangita Srivastava.
“While we do all efforts to provide the best facilities, both in terms of academics and exercise to our students, they must also have ‘proud self’ feelings when studying at the AU.
This is only possible when they get information about the past of the noble university and big names produced, “he added.
VC then told Tii, “because it made the students, both who have registered on campus and also those who will be part of the AU in the coming years, consciously in connection with the noble past and also all of which are the world of famous personality Produced this museum Meghnad Saha, among others, will be part of the proposed museum.
The museum will be established in one of the building halls near the Historical Hall of Vizayagram Campus Faculty of Science from the Central University.
Although the museum will have a statue or murals from this faded, it will be decided in time because the AU must raise funds for this proposed museum.
“We must arrange funds to build a museum that aims to motivate city students to pursue higher education and research in the AU and do not move to other cities.
The funds can come through corporate social responsibility (CSR),” said Prof.
Srivastava.
There are educational institutions throughout the world who have similar museums and even have tickets to visit the museum.
Why we can’t have something here in the AU who has also produced legendary numbers in all fields, he added.
