Audi says’no’ to new internal combustion Automobiles

German luxury carmaker plans to finish production of fresh internal combustion engine versions at the conclusion of 2026, German media reported Monday quoting firm’s CEO Markus Duesmann.
Audi will just grow electric versions after 2026, based on reports released by Süddeutsche Zeitung and Automobilwoche.
But, non-electric versions started by 2026 will soon be marketed before the early 2030s.
The auto manufacturer’s ultimate internal combustion engine version is very likely to be exactly the Q8, that is also accessible in an electrical version.
The version is set to start in 2026 based on German press outlet, Handelsblatt.
At a push to fight climate change, European legislators, along with other important markets, have imposed tougher emissions constraints forcing automakers to proceed all-electric.
Audi now leads the section with its own plans to present a worldwide fully-electric lineup using upto 20 versions by 2025.
Audi’s main rivals like Mercedes-Benz said the new intends on expanding their electrical automobiles set, previously in March but didn’t offer any specifics of the program.
Whereas, BMW expects half of its earnings to be fully-electric versions by 2030.
