Audits do not reveal stps at 13 people

Noida: Noida Authority has begun action after more than a dozen group housing projects in Noida who do not have a functional dump processing plant (STP) in their place.
Noida authorities, who have recently conducted a complete audit of the group housing, found that from the 95 apartment complex, which was completely or partially occupied, 13 had not made arrangements to treat wastewater produced by its inhabitants.
The Chief Executive of the Authority, Ritu Maheshwari said, “From 13 people, someone is being built.
Among the remaining 12, we have taken disciplinary action against eight projects.
People who manage this complex have given us in writing when they will get STP operations.
“Four people, officials said, have moved the Supreme Court to the direction of authority and their problems will be decided.
Eight remaining communities have been looking for time until 11 January next year to establish STP.
An officer from the Department of Water and Sewerage Authority said that in some cases developers had stepped back from their responsibilities and placing responsibility to the population to raise money.
“But we ordered the foreclosure of the marketing office and the rest of the unit was not sold.
It put pressure on the developer and they agreed to establish a STP factory,” the officer said.
The Windsor Assotech Court in Sector 78, the official said, was one of the complexes that had been given to January 10, 2022, to get operational STP.
This project has been planned with 740 units where 460 is ready and occupied.
Sachin Malik, President of the Welfare Association of the Windsor Court, said, “When the community has not been submitted, there is no association of active apartment owners.
However, more than 450 flats have been sold to families.
After several rounds of deliberations, the construction group agreed to install STP and work ongoing.
We must submit a petition in noida authorities and other senior officials to improve the responsibility of the developer.
“Noida authorities, meanwhile, must submit their responses to the National Green Tribunal on November 26 and inform the main bench in New Delhi about the steps He took it to intercept waste water before being channeled to the water channel.
This happened after the citizens of Sector 137 had transferred the court in November 2018 to highlight how the sewer waste was dismissed in irrigation channels that passed Kondli Village.
Then, it was found that unprocessed waste water was dismissed in 30 waterways in the city.
The court has ordered the authority to take steps and ensure that only the water is treated channeled to the water channel.
Furthermore, the review of all group housing projects was ordered and carried out for the past half a year.
