Aurangabad: Minister of Guard Guards Subhash Desai on Monday said the effort to change Aurangabad into a super city in 2023 – to coincide with the celebration of the Jubilee platinum from the Marathwada Liberation Movement.
“Civil administration and other government authorities have been asked to carry out different development jobs in Aurangabad in sequence.
Together with this work, various industrial development ongoing and upcoming in Aurangabad will change the face of Aurangabad in the next two years,” he said.
Desai, who holds reviews with different authorities, said the implementation of putting a new water supply scheme for Aurangabad was one of the field focus areas.
“The 1.680 Crore Rs project needs to be improved.
Civic administration and Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran have been told to accelerate the overhead tank construction work as part of the project.
After completion, the scheme will ensure at least twice a week the water supply for Aurangabad,” he said.
While inaugurating the new construction of the Marathawada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) room, Desai, who is also the Minister of Industry, said the industry of Maharashtra was most unaffected due to restrictions related to Covid planned since the presence of Delta plus variants.
“The state government will continue to stand behind the industry during the current pandemic.
To ensure effective battles against Covid-19, all industries must vaccinate their earliest workforce,” he said.
