Aurangabad: Increasing the problem of rising fuel prices and LPG, the Aurangabad congress unit held a subuk carts agitation in the city on Thursday.
Protests started from the statue of Sardar Vallabhai Patel in the city and continued until the office of the Aurangabad Revenue Division Commissioner where the office carrier submitted a written representation.
Giving central government loans due to the increase in fuel prices and unprecedented LPGs, Congress workers stated that this directly made expensive transportation and increased the basis of all goods including vegetables, pulses that reached the common people.
The office carrier also caused a slogan against the central government led by BJP and demanded unprecedented tax withdrawal.
Senior Office-Bearer Anil Patel questioned the silence of the IRANI Union Minister and Ravin Shankar Prasad with the increase in fuel prices.
“These leaders are usually brought to the road even if there is a 10th increase in Paisa during the Congress regime.
Now, gasoline is being sold for Rs 106 per liter and Diesel has reached Rs 96 per liter, but this politician has no place to see.” Workers, During protests, also raised the issue of LPG Crossing RS 850 per cylinder, silent withdrawal of all subsidies in cylinders and cooking oil reached Rs 200 per liter.
The President of the City of Aurangabad City Hisham Osmani said, “In every liter of gasoline and diesel, the government of Prime Minister Narendra Narendra is collecting Rs 18 on behalf of road development and RS 4 for the agricultural sector.” Citing a series of numbers obtained from various sources, he said the government led by BJP has collected more than RS 22 Lakh Crore through different taxes on fuel including by charging 820% of customs on gasoline.
