AURANGABAD: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of all Aurangabad town police has five individuals on charges of duping a city-based dealer to the tune of more than 59 lakh.
The suspects were offered to offer a dealership of a branded clothing shop at two places in Aurangabad and also one in Kharadi of Pune and consequently accumulated Rs 15 lakh against every shop.
According to the complaint lodged by Pankaj Agrawal, he got connected with Shaikh Akhef along with Nitin Khanna — 2 proprietors of both AN retail ventures personal restricted, sometime in 2018 and promised to have got mass retail rights in the apparel manufacturer.
Agrawal, in his criticism, stated the suspects provided him a rewarding deal like the firm is going to bear all of the cost of merchants including lease of their stores and pays appreciable commission from the selling of goods.
Thus, Agrawal moved to Mumbai and fulfilled with the suspects that sold to pay Rs 90,000 as leasing and other costs or 16 percent as commission, whichever is longer, for all the retail shops.
This was followed closely by Agrawal getting franchise for three places by simply depositing Rs 45 lakh.
It had been followed by means of a trade of Rs 8.45 lakh as commission from the weeks of March, May and June of 2019.
On June 29, 2019, Shaikh lodged a complaint from Agrawal and supposedly got the 3 franshices cancelled.
