Aurangabad: Aurangabad City Police Crime Branch has arrested three people and claimed to have broken the online cricket betting racket that had connections to various cities, including Nashik.
The suspect who was arrested was identified as Syed Riyaz (38), Tabrez Khan (30) and Shaikh Mujahid (30).
Raid was carried out at the end of the night by Crime Branch Inspector Manoj Shinde in the location within the boundaries of the Boins Police Office.
The team seizes articles and some cash more than Rs 75,000.
Inspector Avinash Aghav said the suspects had made themselves registered on the bet site through someone from Nashik and received bets from local gamblers.
