Sydney: Cricket Australia plans to a large crowd for the ash series against England this year, with full-capacity for sale places even though there are concerns about Covid-19.
Nick Hockley’s executive said tickets would go on sale Monday with all stadiums sold to their boundaries except the 100,000 chair Melbourne cricket land which will have an initial capacity of 85 percent.
“The ash competition is one of the biggest in world sports, and we hope that his condition will allow fans as much as possible to attend,” Hockley said in a Wednesday night statement.
“In terms of capacity due to government restrictions related to pandemics, we certainly guarantee full shipping fans.” The five-test series will begin in Brisbane on December 8 before day / night matches in Adelaide, followed by a traditional boxing test in Melbourne then Sydney and Perth.
