Sydney: Australian Authority returns the night curfew and extends the steps of Covid-19 in Melbourne for two more weeks to load the outbreak of the very contagious Delta Coronavir variant.
The key to the current will expire on Thursday night but will now run until September 2, Victoria State Premier Daniel Andrews told reporters in Melbourne, the state capital.
The state on Monday reported 22 local cases, down from 25 days earlier.
“The rules don’t kick until midnight, but I ask people to observe the night hours from 9pm tonight,” Andrews said.
