Australia grieves the loss of Greats Alan Davidson and Ashley Mallett

Sydney: Australia Cricket is in sorrow on Saturday after the death of the former Great, Alan Davidson and Ashley Mallett within 24 hours each other.
Test Spinner Mallett died 76 after a long battle with cancer, while Alan Alan Davidson was legendary died at 92.

He still holds the best numbers for finger spinners in Australia with 8-59 against Pakistan in Adelaide in 1972, but his efforts in India were subject to the biggest.
On the 1969-70 tour, he took 28 goals, playing a key role in Australia which secured a rare victory in India.
“Ashley Mallett is an extraordinary player, a famous journalist and a very famous writer,” Freudenstein said.
“He plays an important role in Australian cricket not only as a player but as a productive storyteller who has maintained memories of some of the biggest matches and moments for people to enjoy age.” We are sad to know the legendary Australian All-Rounder death, ICC Hall of Famer, Alan Davidson.

He also wrote many books, including the Biography of the Great Victor Trumper Batting and fellow Spin Wizard Carrie Grimmett.
