Australian Author to go on trial in China on spying charges

BEIJING: A Australian academic held in China for two or more years on spying fees has been expected to go on trial Thursday in a situation which has fuelled a bitter row between the two countries over individual rights, commerce and domestic security. The trial has been made to be kept behind closed doors however, in remarks shared with networking, Yang Jun claimed his innocence and vowed to”confront torture and suffering with durability”.
