MELBOURNE: Skipper Meg Lanning was led by an example like Australia destroying England with eight goals in the third and final minute to complete an unbeaten multi-format series on Tuesday.
Bowlers Australia, pioneered by Annabel Sutherland (4-31), put the foundation for a 3-0 sweep from the foot of the day of the series by Bowling Out England for 163 in the Junction Oval Melbourne.
Lanning led their pursuit with 57 unbeaten when Australia continued with 13.4 overs to get a 12-4 series victory less than a month after their team 4-0 ash victory against England.
The English team under Heather Knight finished without victory, their points came from two T20 matches drifting at Adelaide and the test drawn in Canberra.
“We have so many contributors.
It embraced us in instead moving forward,” said Lanning whose team was extraordinary to win the World Cup in New Zealand starting next month.
“Today is a complete performance with bats and balls.” Knight said their performance was dipped towards the end of a tiring tour.
“We will be somewhat frustrated there are some missed opportunities.” The last two matches are not a reflection of us as parties.
